As an Australian, I am quite bias when it comes to the beautiful country that I hail from, and trying to describe what it is like here is completely impossible for me – so I am going to show you.
Here are a few simple reasons why you should visit Australia…
“A picture says a thousand words..”
The sunrises and sunsets are among some of the best in the world!

We have completely iconic landscapes.
Including in the cities…

in the country…

at the beaches…

and on the islands.

We have some of the most unique wildlife in the world.

We have a rich and diverse prehistory (dating back c. 40000 years).

And finally, the FOOD!

Australia offers a unique and diverse range of opportunities and traditions for everyone. Whether it be our prehistory which dates back over 40000 years, food & drink or the beauty of our natural landscapes, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Stay tuned for our guides coming out about travelling Australia. In the mean time you could check out our Backpacking Queensland Series.
If you like it, you should pin it!
Appreciate the country and would love to visiit it someday.
You will be welcomed with an open heart when you do make your way here (I hope)! 🙂
Not that I needed any more convincing, but this definitely gave me more reasons to want to go ASAP!

We just did a trip to Australia this winter. We only hit Cairns (GBR) and Sydney, which is a shame, because there is SO much more! Can’t wait to go back!
If you only have a limited time there isn’t really much you can do about it.. It just gives you more of a reason to return! 😛
I have yet to visit Australia. Hoping to making it there early next year. With it being such a huge country, there’s obviously so much to see and do; it’s just hard to narrow it down! And yes, I’m a little scared to encounter some of the slithering and scary creatures!
Don’t be too scared of the wildlife, you will probably not see a single deadly animal…unless of course you go searching for them yourself 😉
Wow totally beautiful and it’s been on my list for ages! We must make it out there next year!
I visited Australia a few years back and loved it. I can’t wait to go back – great place to visit.
I have not been but it is a place I hope to visit soon. I would love to see a kangaroo in it’s natural surroundings.
